Pros

was able to work my own hours; submit documentation on my own time. Was able to do my shopping while I did my job.

Cons

Doesn't pay very well; had to be careful when I did the job due to certain locations being suspicious of what you were doing, therefore there was a risk of being kicked out of the store, thus you aren't able to complete the assignment.

Pros

The only pro is somewhat flexible hours

Cons

Company set up conference calls on the new droid low pay rate. We were first told that the droid had been field tested for 5yrs. Today company states that it was tested for 1 yr. by150 employees. Company can't even keep their stories straight. To make long term employees feel good about the huge pay cut, company states that they will cut new hire rate. They can't keep enough hired to cover jobs. The pay cut was a real slap in the face for those who put this company where it is today. Supposedly the pay cut will be passed on to clients as lower fees. I doubt that any client fees are cut. Someone in the office will enjoy the other half of my pay while I figure out how to maintain my household. Advice to new hires: be wary of any promises from company. After the hourly rate ends, the piece rate does not compensate.

Beware; not what they profess to be

Pros

The only pro is that you can basically set your own hours

Cons

The company is changing and is only thinking of profits! Not employees. Technology support is outsourced, limiting the ability to find a solution within actual work time. Beware of being blindsided and told you are no longer valued. When you were great the week before. Uses the CEO is going in a different direction as an excuse for everything. Direct managers will turn on you to cover their own selves and protect their positions. They will not have your back!

As clients’ needs change from time to time, there are changes in field workload. These have a greater likelihood of impacting full-time Research Associates. Through updates to our processes, we've reduced field-based administrative tasks. As a result, there has been a change in the number of FT Lead Research Associates needed on the team. We are not becoming cheap. We actually need thousands more field employees, in the right place, doing the right thing, and achieving expectations.
