Pros

Decent pay and flexible hours

Cons

The training for this job was only a few hours and should have been longer. Given the amount of data collectors need to gather there should been longer easily assailable training for new comers.

Pros

-Friendly atmosphere -Casual attire -Mostly good people

Cons

Ohhh man. Well to start, Retail Data wants critical thinkers but doesn't offer the proper training to their employees. The people who can properly train also tend to be the most competent ones who are run so ragged they haven't the time to train those in need. -They run this company very tightly so taking off from work is a nightmare. -If you are on a high paying account you are heavily scrutinized, if you are on the small accounts teams you are basically ignored -Pay raises are laughable -Performance reviews are a joke -No communication between departments.

Pros

Job flexibility, although the company will require you to perform re-collects on data you've collected already and you are also expected to complete the re-collect before end of day, so it's not really flexible as they say. You're also expected to complete 20% of collections on every job start date. If a transmission of this is not read, expect an e-mail or text message from District Manager asking why it wasn't done. Company does poor job of letting you know these metrics, but expects for you to know from "training/orientation."

Cons

Micromanagement. Constantly blowing up my e-mail inbox or phone. Company does very poor job of training data collectors and ensuring data quality assurance from the beginning. Only realistic point of contact for any issue is with District Manager; never heard from any other persons in the company.
