-Most employees at this company are part time. This comes with a requirement that you must work a minimum of 10 hours. The company can (and will) add more hours to your schedule without speaking to you first if they need work covered. Doesn't matter if you have another job or prior commitment.
-If you are lucky enough to be promoted to Full time, be prepared for terrible health benefits that cost more than what you usually make, accruing PTO at the rate of just over an hour every pay period, being constantly harassed if you're not fulfulling the 32 hour minimum no matter the circumstances, and being jerked around or have work taken away from you if you can't/won't cover a job that needs completing.
-The PTO that you get as a full time employee is a joke! Worked here for 7 years and had 2 weeks of vacation that were paid in that whole time.
-Equipment and software is completely outdated and typically gets sent out to new hires not functioning correctly.
-New hires are expected to jump right in and figure things out with either a remote training session or a few hours in store with a manager. After that, good luck figuring it out on your own.
-Turnover is horrible!
-If you're lucky enough to have a good District Manager, the job can be tolerable. However, dealing with anyone at corporate (they have no clue what goes on in the field) is a nightmare! Expectations are unrealistic and they have no business sense whatsoever. I'm not sure how they have been in business for almost 30 years.
-You will NEVER see a pay raise! Only a decrease in pay.
-Bonus program was taken away in 2020 and never brought back.
-Most jobs are paid out at piece rate. This means that if you're scanning an entire store you get paid roughly a penny per item.
-The only way to make money is to be really fast at collecting. If the only work you have is paid out at a penny a piece... you're out of luck!
-Communication is horrible! Unless they need something or you've done something wrong, you'll never get answers to your questions/concerns.
-Company sends out emails to current employees with surveys to see how they're doing. At the end of the survey they direct you to a site and ask you to leave a positive review and you get paid for 15 minutes of work.
