Pros

Benefits, Extensive Industry Pro Deals, Great Co-Workers.

Cons

Pay structure is pretty hard to climb and starts at relatively low pay comparatively to other jobs of the same managerial levels. Feels like all they do is chase the bottom line besides marketing themselves as a “co-op for the employee”.

Pros

The pros are the pro deals and there is a fair amount of flex in your schedule if that’s important to you

Cons

The pay is absolutely not good at all. There’s a ton of virtue signaling and acting like the higher ups care (at all) about people on the floor but it’s really just smoke and mirrors.

REI is a great place because of the people who work there. Your coworkers are the coolest people on the earth. Prodeals are great

Cons

Boys club. Good luck getting promoted. Poor Pay for the industry Super ambiguous unhelpful emails from leadership Little transparency on how promotions happen Feedback is not part of the culture
