Pros

Fantastic co-workers, and customers who share a love of the outdoors. Benefits for part-time employees.

Cons

Locally it has become a place with toxic managers who exhibit intense focus on micromanagement and inconsequential tasks rather than creating a functioning successful business for employees and customers.

Pros

Decent pay and chance to learn new things, great pro-deals, mostly awesome co-workers

Cons

Hours get slashed in slow times, pay doesn't keep up with length of tenure (when pay is raised it mostly goes up for new folks), lack of opportunities for advancement, company is completely unresponsive to complaints of bad management, seems to get more corporate every year

Pros

Great coworkers, great pro deals, flexibility (once you’ve been there for long enough) with school schedule

Cons

Management does not care about the needs of the staff. If you work in a part-time position prepare to have your hours cut with no warning. All the management cares about are membership and sales metrics and favoritism is a massive problem.
