1. I respect REI's CEO. He is gem of a person. If you have any concern, you can directly talk to him. 2. They revised benefits in 2014, as they were loosing so many employees, so they decided to do something about it.

Cons

1. Favoritism 2. Some Top level Managers are not supposed to be managers. They lack communication skills, basically not fit to be managers. 3. Long Work Hours (Think 10+ hours every day). 4. Below Average Compensation. 5. Terrible management. If you like micro-management, this is the place for you. 6. Nothing would get done with HR Department.

Pros

Most of the people are good people to work with and are rather intelligent.

Cons

Management at the program manager level is horrible. Make ridiculous commitments to customers for which the engineers have to break their backs to meet. When these ridiculous commitments are actually met, who is rewarded for it? The managers....not the engineers are rewarded for meeting these goals.
