Pros

Good pay for experienced folks, great office space, flexible work schedule, has work from home options if required, good 401K, better than average medical/dental/vision plans, talented resources, and amazing people managers who care for your needs and career growth

Cons

If you find shortcomings here, you will find it everywhere. If you complain here you will complain everywhere. There are very few cons and managements is ready to take in input to solve them. Very few cons and I dont want to name them.

Pros

Great people, good 401k plan and benefits. Nice workplace environment, flexible hours (does not mean less work)

Cons

Dated technology stack, convoluted, closed framework library which all projects have to use. This makes learning and introduction of new technologies very difficult. Growth depends on the project you work on, salary not par with other companies in the area.

Pros

REI will pay you a high salary, and the employees who work there are mostly enthusiastic people with smiles on their faces.

Cons

The cost of living for the area is fairly high compared to other cities. Many of their workers are H1B workers which means that they are able to push their employees harder and use the revocation of their H1B as leverage.

Thank you for your positive feedback regarding our salaries, our people, and our corporate culture. However, we’re concerned about your reasons for not recommending us to your friends and associates. You mention the possibility of H1B status workers being pressured with the threat of losing their H1B status. If you know of any such cases people personally, please advise them to use one or more of the available communication channels (both signed or anonymous) make executive management aware of their situations. We do not tolerate unfair or unethical business practices of any type. Thank You, REI's People Services Team.
