REI Systems Response

Thank you for taking time to provide feedback! We are happy to hear that the benefits and people have been a positive for you. Workload is an incredibly important dimension of our professional lives and requires careful coordination between senior leaders, managers, and team members. Therefore, we strongly encourage each person to share candidly with their direct managers, next level managers, and even with HR when ongoing challenges arise. At REI, it is our sincere intention to maintain sustainable work-life balance, even while delivering excellence for our customers, so that employees choose to stay and grow with us long-term. Your voice is vital in that process. As for salary, we recognize that in a highly volatile labor market, we much carefully monitor market-based industry benchmarks and continually adjust our compensation structures across positions and levels to remain both competitive and equitable, though this is a moving target and an dynamic challenge. This is an area of intentional focus for us at this time and we remain committed to retaining our truly excellent team members! Thank you again for providing your input and thank you for being part of the REI team.

Pros

On-site employees have a lot of support and activities to engage in. Company actively pursues employee skills and professional growth.

Cons

REI has gained large new contacts by under-bidding to the extent that too few labor hours are available to cover all tasks. Delivery managers on these contacts expect unpaid hours to be worked in order to bridge the gap.
