Pros

Discount. WFH. Some easy days.

Cons

Alright, so let's talk about REVOLVE. First off, if you're someone who values autonomy, you might want to think twice about joining the REVOLVE team. The micromanagement here is next level. Seriously, you'll feel like you're under a microscope every minute of your shift. Need to take a bathroom break? Good luck without getting a manager breathing down your neck asking where you've disappeared to. Now, onto the customers. Brace yourself because they'll push your buttons like it's an Olympic sport. You're expected to bend over backwards for them, but don't expect any medals for your efforts. Nope, customers take full advantage of your kindness and some can be downright rude. And guess what? If you don't cater to their every whim, you're looking at a write-up. Plus, most of the bad feedback comes from issues in other departments, and good luck seeing any changes to fix those problems. Oh, and overtime? It's practically a given here. Sure, the extra cash is nice, but don't expect to have much of a life outside of work. Seriously, all shifts will leave you drained plus the overtime is MANDATORY. If you can't do it they WILL make you do it on your day off. Even if you're a top performer, you're still gonna feel suffocated by the micromanagement. It's like they don't trust you to tie your own shoelaces without supervision. Let's talk about pay. Spoiler alert: its not worth it at all. This job gives you a discount but with a paycheck that barely covers the cost of anything on their website. And don't even get me started on the mental toll. You WILL experience burnout. Sometimes you'll find yourself questioning if it's even worth it. Multitasking is expected, but good luck prioritizing. You'll get slapped on the wrist if you focus on calming down an angry customer via email instead of jumping back on the phones immediately. And trust me, with the poor product quality and lack of communication, those emails can take ages to craft. Oh, and here's the cherry on top: one of my leads let slip that they almost filed termination paperwork for me but couldn't because they messed up the paperwork. Real morale booster, right? Apparently, it was their mistake, but she acted like they were doing me a favor by not following through. Motivation level? Zero. So, in conclusion, unless you love punishment or enjoy being treated like a robot, you might wanna think twice about clocking in at REVOLVE.

Pros

My experience working for Revolve was at the DTLA office and it was a pretty relaxed environment. There were always free snacks in the kitchen and free lunch on Fridays. You also get an employee discount on both Revolve and FWRD (not that most people could really afford it). My team was smaller and I liked my colleagues, however I know this isn't the case for everyone. The main benefit you gain from working at Revolve is simply having the name on your resume.

Cons

Revolve is clearly aware of their status and they use it to their advantage - the pay and benefits are offensive. Unless you're at a managerial level, you'll be on hourly pay. You get 10 days PTO (that you have to accrue) and no sick days. Revolve promotes internal company growth, but in my experience I didn't see this reflected.
