Moral is EXTREMELY LOW creating a toxic negative work environment
You will NEVER get paid what you are worth. During the interview/hiring process HR and higher ups will promise you opportunities for growth within the company. Unfortunately, this is extremely false.
Management has zero experience working outside of this company, therefore they have no idea what they are doing. Every process is completely backwards and makes zero sense.
IF you have "earned" your yearly raise you can expect $1-$2 if you're reallllly lucky. They make it impossible to move up and get promoted at a normal growth rate. You'll be taking baby steps towards an unattainable goal.
HR is horrible. You are seen as replaceable, not valued.
CEO's are arrogant and waste millions on parties and vacations for C list influencers instead of paying their employees a livable wage at best.
Brand direction is all over the place. Too many skus and in house brands with the SAME designs. Cheap product.
After going public execs cut budget for all the company parties and team bonding activities which where some of the FEW incentives for working for an insultingly low wage.
Marketing team is favored
Accrued PTO of 8 days that are also used for sick days.
Expensive health insurance.
If you come from money, or are married to money, it could be worth it to work there for a while and stock up on some discounted designer handbags. That's about it.
