Pros

Hybrid schedule/work from home twice a week - Discount was great as well

Cons

My job title was technical designer. Standard pay at my level 70k for entry level at any other company. I was making 40k a year at revolve, no friggin joke. This is for most employees at any position. I know designers that made as much as I did. The clothing is made so cheaply… I would never pay full price for any of the styles I worked on. The boss was passive aggressive, condescending, belittling any one that wasn’t one of his pets. Absolutely would never recommend this company to anybody. I left a few months ago and got word from coworkers that an entire design team quit. Before I left, most coworkers I had told about leaving were congratulating me for getting out and that they were looking for new jobs as well. There’s a reason this place is a revolving door (no pun intended).

Pros

clothing discount good for entry-level but get out after 6 months

Cons

- the hourly pay is INSANELY LOW (unlivable in Los Angeles. you're better off working at whole foods. ) - 8.5-10 hour NON-STOP work days - BURN OUT - no matching 401k - made-up positions created by Revolve like "sr assistant" & "jr. associate" to intentionally slow down growth & promotions - favoritism in the office - company uses office perks like snacks and lunch on Fridays to mask horrible pay - have to pay upwards of $50 per item to buy your own designs on the website - 5 total paid holidays off per year (Christmas DAY, new years DAY, Thanksgiving DAY, memorial day & independence day) - NO sick days

Pros

Employee discount and the name on your resume

Cons

Working at Revolve is not as glamorous and fun as people may think. It is definitely a toxic environment and feels like a popularity contest. The only way to strive here is to be favored. Many of the employees in leadership positions have been with the company for 10+ years and this is their first and only corporate job in the industry, thus, they do not have different perspectives or know how apparel companies actually run outside of what they only know at Revolve. If you're anything lower than a management position, do not expect to get promoted anytime soon. There is very little room for growth. Everyone is too comfortable in their positions, so new and better roles hardly ever open up. Whenever you see fun events and posts on social media, don't forget the underpaid teams slaving away to make it happen. Morale is low because of the low salaries and minimal recognition of hard work. Since they know you can be replaced by people willing to accept low salaries, you'll feel disposable. Don't let the employee discount or the name trick you into working here. It's not worth it. You'll be more valued elsewhere.
