      Pros

      Interaction with guests was the highlight of the day.

      Cons

      Poor management and pay. Milieu Specialist are paid more than the techs. They’re paid to sit and do rounds, while we work, document, conduct groups, transport guests, and place ourselves in immediate danger.

      Floor staff are generally nice and accommodating, everyone try’s to help make each others lives a bit easier

      Cons

      Management likes to pawn off their jobs to lower level staff, there is no support from staff, no onsite clinicians (mostly telemedicine), facilities are generally understaffed and you are expected to pick up the extra work with no extra compensation. This place is the definition of profit-minded corporate hell-hole, avoid this place like the plague. Patients are generally neglected due to understaffing and absence of on site clinicians.

      Good wage compensation. Free clinical supervision to LCAS-A. This is a great job for associate level clinicians needing the experience in crisis work.

      Cons

      Increase benefits. Bonuses for clinical staff. Incentives for working 2nd and 3rd shift. Could offer more salaried positions and upward mobility.
