Pros

Recovery innovations has given me the opportunity to do what I've always wanted to do since I was a child. They are very flexible with scheduling allowing me to continue going to school and continue to get all the hours I needed to work.

Cons

So far there has been a lot of change in the company, which isn't bad. Raises are in frequent.

Pros

Good pay; decent philosophy on mental health

Cons

Arrogant management, highly dangerous work environment with involuntarily committed patients. Poor staffing. Five people including licensed professional have walked away on the two months I have worked here, Their recovery model is a hypocritical sham to attract contracts and lure unsuspecting employees. They certainly do not care about or feel equal; with the poor, sick people they make money from.Any question of authority is met with swift and certain painful consequences. They have a long and growing list of patients and employees that have been injured and then kicked aside.

Pros

Dedicated and talented front line staff.

Cons

The new upper management team are a joke! They are only concerned with money and pleasing community stakeholders. Quality of care, safety, and employee morale take a back seat to profits. Kind of ironic given RI is a nonprofit organization. An executive lectured me once about profits, and in the same breath told me that failures were lower level employees fault and upper management was only accountable for successes. They would take the credit and pat each other on the backs for lower level employee accomplishments too. Pay no mind that these people are a bunch of Magellan and CRN rejects - a lot of narcissistic clowns from the CEO on down. Run away even faster if you're a nurse. They're expected to care for 20+ patients with very little administrative support. They're scapegoats if something goes wrong too. Convenient huh? Ethics? Pff...what are those??
