Pros

In the beginning, it was an empowering company at every location and it encouraged the recovery and strengths of it's peer support staff and members receiving services.

Cons

The peer support model was replaced with a sense of oppressive control. Altruistic Peer Support specialists taking a backseat to BHTs with a drug and prison history. The current CEO is in place when the founder appointed him his deputy and he conspired against him and overthrew him. Since then the recovery/peer model has suffered and a bitter controlling atmosphere his replaced it.

The people served deserve better.

Has over 6 workmen's comp claims from assaults, over 3 patients have eloped, staff break into tears frequently and nursing staff have to walk off of the floor to avoid working over their licensing requirements. very little compliance with Washington State codes, was asked to perform several tasks that are illegal/unethical,

I must admit I did learn quite a bit in a relatively short time as regards some aspects of software development. The other employees in the other departments were quite friendly, unlike in IT.

Cons

Poisonous atmosphere in software development, worked with two prima donnas. One of them was the lead programmer. He basically wanted you to write software just like him. A very confining environment, if you are used to more "normal" work situations.
