Work at RIT

Pros

Good health care, a lot of networking opportunities, and only required to work 24 hours of interpreting hours so it helps to balance pain.

Cons

Not working during the summer, so finances are hard to manage at that time. Benefits are being taken away such as pay continuance, high 401k matches, etc. Low merit increases, and not a lot of room for growth. Once you hit the highest level (level 4 interpreter) you are stuck for salary increase for the rest of your career.
