Pros

Great staff, lovely to work with. Projects are always fun, because they are for student run clubs, organizations, and events. GAs make around the $13/hour + $100 meal plan. You get to work events, and sometimes get promotional giveaways, which is a nice perk. Office culture is much like a family. Everyone is extremely friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Even if they don't know how to help, they know who else to ask.

Cons

There is no professional design staff. Student staff are relied on completely for all the design/marketing work, and make just over minimum wage. I think they are underpaid for the amount (and QUALITY) of work that they do, but they love the type of work and office culture enough to compensate.

Pros

The position has on the job training that works to supplement the learning that you have done in and out of the classroom. As far as being employed as a student you do not enjoy the benefits that full time employees do such as vacation time or other benefits, however you can be flexible in scheduling you hours and the team is fun to work with.

Cons

The chain of command gets annoying. While your immediate superiors are usually very pleasant to work with, it seems hard to get extra resources when looking to your department for those resources.
