Pros

RIT hasn't lost sight of the employees while focussing on the students. I have been allowed the flexibility to care for myself and my family without being penalized. Employee health is held in high regard with programs directed at proper eating, weight maintenance and physical conditioning. Their workout facilities are top notch and free for employees to use.

Cons

A heirarchy exists that makes staff fear the faculty. Too often people worry that if they do something to upset the faculty in general or any one member in particular, they may lose their jobs. This fear can and does get in the way of progress at times.
