Good benefits, poor management

Pros

Great benefits and good work life balance. I love RIT as a whole. It's a great campus to work on.

Cons

Poor support of staff growth (trying to improve this with the career architecture plan, but not doing a good job at it, especially in first pilot areas). Poor upper level management that is out of touch with industry and current norms of conduct in the work place. I love RIT culture as a whole, but there are definitely pockets of siloed departments where culture is poor. It appears that HR and upper management has little control or influence to improve these areas.
