      Pros

      The interview process was straight forward. I heard back rather quickly. Some in leadership positions were extremely helpful and knew the ins and outs of the industry. I am grateful for the experience and for what I learned from them.

      Cons

      I learned rather quickly I was replaceable. Those who do not agree are ostracized; I have never seen that many people get fired. Whole departments would change within the course of 6 months. Rather obvious in-fighting among management created an awkward and tense work environment. I was expected to be readily available on nights, weekends, and during PTO. There is no work from home which seems odd in this area where many companies woo new talent with this benefit.

      Pros

      Very booze and happy hour friendly employer (especially if working at corporate!). Everyone is generally friendly. I was able to translate everything I learned into a more stable, better paying job with far superior benefits and warm corporate environment. So - thanks for that.

      Cons

      Where do I start? - Upper management, especially the executive team, has no idea how to lead. They ignore pertinent and helpful suggestions because it bruises their egos. This is a business - learn from the suggestions and look deeper than just the surface. - The corporate atmosphere is one of very unnecessary chaos. Just because the company is growing does not mean you need to make snap judgments on every decision you make. Take a breath and think over the best course of action before acting on it. - I was belittled and/or screamed at consistently during my time at Riva. This was witnessed by MANY people in upper management, of which NONE intervened or even asked if I was ok (I was not).

      Pros

      The executive management and especially CEO are always looking for ways to improve the way we work and our working environment. On a personal level, I have benefited from the belief of my manager and the freedom to find areas where I can add most value. If you are motivated, want to work and grow - this is the place for you!

      Cons

      None that I can think of. If anything I’d have to say current growing pains means changing processes.
