Pros

While the company allocates time for employees to take training courses, such as those offered on platforms like LinkedIn Learning, the costs are typically borne by the individual. Nevertheless, this commitment to providing time for personal development underscores the company's dedication to fostering employee growth and skill enhancement, which can be a compelling reason to work for such an organization.

Cons

In my experience at the company, there were several notable drawbacks that impacted my overall satisfaction. Firstly, despite consistently meeting expectations and rarely requiring significant revisions on my assignments, I often felt undermined by my manager's repeated comments about my pace of work. Despite voluntarily disclosing my ADHD diagnosis upon hiring, there appeared to be a disconnect between HR and my manager regarding accommodations for my disability, leading to feelings of belittlement and frustration that ultimately contributed to my decision to leave the company.Additionally, the lack of a cohesive team dynamic was evident in the workplace culture. While I engaged in brief daily interactions with a few colleagues within my department, there was a palpable sense of detachment and a lack of camaraderie among team members, which left me feeling isolated and without a sense of belonging.Furthermore, the company's bonus program left much to be desired in terms of fairness and adequacy. As the workforce demographics shift and economic factors evolve, it's crucial for compensation structures to reflect the changing needs and realities of employees. Unfortunately, the annual bonuses offered by the company failed to keep pace with inflation and the cost of living, resulting in a disparity between compensation and the actual financial needs of employees. Moreover, the limited scope of annual raises for department heads served as a deterrent to daily motivation and failed to adequately recognize and reward ongoing contributions to the company's success.
