Pros

The people I work with except anyone in my department charged with providing any sense of direction or actual management.

Cons

The leader has a good sense of humour but being the loudest person in the room is starting to wear a bit thin when there is no substance behind it Nothing has changed in the last few years. Still too many silos in the department, no strategy from above and everyone in it for themselves. We hide behind big initiatives (latest one being AI) when we struggle to get the basics right. Even my own manager can't provide any guidance or support as they are kept in the dark or are informed at the eleventh hour about most things. Working with Product Owners is more a case of the blind leading the blind and who knows if they even know what their roles are nowadays. In summary, once you cut through all the humour, loudness and finger pointing elsewhere, nothing has changed in Product Management and I don't think it will with the current leadership

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate how deeply you care about the success of the Product Management function. We recognize that strong leadership, clear strategy, and cross-functional collaboration are essential to a thriving product organization. While we’re proud of the innovation and initiatives underway, we understand that foundational elements like communication, role clarity, and support must be in place for those efforts to succeed. We will share your feedback with the appropriate leaders as we’re committed to fostering a culture where teams feel empowered, informed, and supported. We know there’s always room to improve and we welcome a deeper conversation between you, your HRBP, and your manager to explore how we can address these challenges together. Thank you again for helping us grow.
