Pros

- You can meet some nice people as well as some of the worse management ever

Cons

- No training, and no team work, it's everyone for themselves, unless your team mate can help you which is very rare since everyone works on different parts of the system and everyone is too busy to look out for themselves - Very low pay, a dead end job with no chance of advancing, very fast turnover rate, people come and leave all the time - Brutal micro-management, logging everything you do like I spend "30 min on this task" EVERYDAY - Brutal monthly propaganda meeting where senior are saying nice things are going to happen to this company and the things we are getting which never happens, just a technique to try to get you work harder - Ancient technologies (VB6.0 and very old version of Java), if want to learn cutting edge technologies, don't bother with this company

Pros

Some people are pleasant to work with. You might get some kickbacks if you're employee of the month. It's tax-free cash.

Cons

You will spend a lot of time doing the same things over and over. You read the design document, and add tiny fragments of code. They can't even bother to upgrade the software. There are components in VB, and their test servers are 10 year old personal computers. The pay is well below the industry standard. There is no training. You are expected to perform as soon as you are hired. They do not have patience for you to ask questions. They track your time like a hound. Every 10 minutes is accounted for in a project. If they assign 5 hours to a task, you better stay within the time-frame otherwise it looks like you aren't doing your job. The estimated time for a task is randomly assigned by project management. If they under estimated the time for your task, well.... you look bad. This place is a revolving door. Lots of people get laid off. It's comparable to an airport terminal. I didn't bother learning people's names because chances are they will be gone in 2-3 months.

Pros

Honestly the only positive I can relate is it is in a very. Once jet spot in tens of commuting - about a 2 minute walk from union station

Cons

Management is inept, incompetent and haven't got a clue how to manage people. The HR and its components are a total joke
