Pros

RSA Security has some interesting products to work on. Security space is hot.

Cons

Not willing to pay competitive salary. They lost a lot of smart people over the past few years.

Pros

Great people who truly believe in collaborating and want to do what is right for the customer. Solid career trajectory in the sales organization, as you are really visible and can get places quickly. Great culture where higher ups know the sales teams by name and stay engaged with what is happening. Lots of opportunities to move internally, they truly care about retaining people. Great place to start a career in the security space.

Cons

Unfortunately, the acquisition has left the company in a confused state with unclear strategy, so RSA is losing to leaner, swifter organizations. A lot of attrition in the process. In some areas, there is a clear lack of product marketing, management and engineering to back up the sales teams, leading them to lose significant opportunities.

Pros

Work life balance is great. People are very helpful and culture is great. I wish Sr management was as good as my peers.

Cons

Job not challenging and Compensation sucks! RSA IT Senior management does not have any vision on how the IT dept needs to work. It seriously lacks leadership skills and people on the top do not have any passion or interest in adding value to the business. They have no idea how to retain the millennials and still have the mindset of mainframe era that wont change until a major shake up happens. I hope Amit Yoran, CEO of the company will take some action and get some capable, energetic, visionary, & passionate people in IT.
