      Decent Yard Driving Gig

      Pros

      Station/site manager is a great guy! Works very hard to build and maintain his team of drivers and is very willing to work with them regarding scheduling. Decent pay. Paid breaks. Work is easy.

      Cons

      Lead Driver on the Weekday Day shift is useless. Not allowed to leave the site for your 30 minute breaks.

      Pros

      Moderately easy and thoughtless work, set schedule (if you enjoy working night shift). pleasant co-workers and FREE t-shirts.

      Cons

      Safety was NOT a way of life in this company. Enforced only when upper management was alleged to be "in the area". The pay is WELL BELOW the market value. The health and retirement benefits were absolutely GARBAGE. Do you like/need overtime?! Well, you won't be getting it there, period! NO potential (whatsoever) for growth/upward mobility.

      Pros

      The pay was not too bad. I liked the idea of getting a payment that met my financial needs and helped me with the mortgage.

      Cons

      The upper management was too strict about the work. They wanted you to report everything and be monitored all the time. It was a very stressful. Avoid if you want to avoid stress.
