RTC has great potential, but it needs to focus on being competitive with market conditions and employee development.

Pros

RTC has a great insurance package and benefits. Also, the people at RTC are extremely nice and caring individuals.

Cons

Compensation is probably 20% to 25% lower than similar positions in the market. Bonuses are not based on merit and are rarely given in full. There is no form of career development paths at RTC which prevents it from retaining talent for more than a couple of years.

Pros

People are great to work with, if you are in the right department the company can be extremely flexible with work/life balance.

Cons

Raises and bonuses do not reflect appreciation for the employees. Compensation increases are not directly tied to your performance, it is a standard across the board so where is the motivation to work harder???

Pros

I looked at this place like bootcamp, if you can survive the workload here, you can survive anywhere. My colleagues were fantastic. Hardworking, dedicated and some of the most intelligent I have ever been around. If you are looking for ZERO work life balance, this is the place.

Cons

They claim career growth and advancement, but that isn't the case unless you are a "favorite", then you will be fast-tracked and not based on actual capability. Salary is not competive, even with other POP companies. HR didn't even acknowledge the gap in pay when I brought job listings from other POP companies that were hiring in the area. Management philosophy is work more with less - typically meaning you are carrying more than one full time position. No semblance of work life balance at all whatsoever if you are on the big program teams.It is all about cranking out the work.
