Overall a great place to work, but...

Pros

RTI International though is just like any other consulting firm, overall it offers a great place to work. But not all the groups/divisions/co-workers are the same. RTI offers good benefits, but not much career growth opportunities.

Cons

At times work can be really stressful due to constant juggling for the billable hours. All the work is client driven. There is not much scope for learning new skills. Many co-workers say RTI used to be really good many years ago, but the work culture has been degrading in the recent years.

Pros

Many potentials to be on different projects.

Cons

Many competitions internally to be on proposals. Research tasks are very fragmented. Management wants staffs to work on proposals, but frowns if charged hours to proposal writing.
