Some smart people work here.

Cons

The requirement of tracking your time doesn't allow for creative exploration or afternoons to take care of a personal matter like most full time jobs. It's effectively working hourly with benefits. If they don't have enough work for you, you must use your PTO or take unpaid time off. Very hard to get salary hikes, they do not pay market even for government consulting work. No career path. Everyone is seen as a human resource.

Awesome mission and lots of smart researchers there.

Cons

The leadership is almost all older white guys who do not foster female leadership. The biases against women are clear to those there. Many strong female leaders have left.
