Pros

Each of my colleagues that I had the honor meet, in and outside of projects, have been caring, supportive, smart, dependable, and all around relatable individuals. Leadership team (excluding CEO) has great ideas, care for their teams, and understand how the business should operate to be successful.

Cons

The CEO's immaturity, lack of business skills, and overall influence soils the culture, professionalism, and potential of this company. Constructive feedback and basic questions about the company's outlook causes the CEO to act-out and become childishly defensive. This, in return, has developed a culture of begrudging compliance that has left a majority of employees feeling dismissed and unwanted. The rest of the few employees act as ‘yes-men’ who get all the recognition as well as the projects. They ask no questions unless it promotes the company or CEO ( I wonder who wrote the reviews with no cons?). Since the CEO’s recent obsession with AI, it has led him to ignore critical, revenue-rich resources and has left valuable employees scratching their heads. After the CEO lost half of his employees in 2023, he has persisted in making selfish decisions which have changed core policies, sacrificing key benefits that made the company great (choice of work arrangement, set amount of time off, no 401k matching policy). There are plenty of problems in this company that are actively being worked on; however, with each step forward that leadership promotes, the CEO makes spontaneous decisions to bring it four steps back. With no future plans even considered or found important to be developed by the CEO, the instability of the future weighs on those skilled employees who were once considered great assets, and as a reminder, stayed during the hardest times of the company, keeping it going. Last thing I will say. Pay attention to the Revenue that this company has brought in. After 10+ years of business, they have yet to generate over a million dollars of revenue?
