Professional Organization. Very corporate - so if you like that - it;s great. The people who go to Reed tend to stay at Reed for a long time. They very much like developing and retaining talent. No revolving door there. Many smart people

Cons

Not entrepreneurial at all. Very top heavy and slow to move to make decisions. Very coporate. if you don't liek that sort of thing. Extermeley departmentalized with many departments. it creates a trying shared resource environment where the big dogs get fed and everyone else starves.

Pay is less than scale. Big egos in Senior Management. Very little mobility. Extreme Politics Inability of Management in general to access talent. This leads to turnover.
