Great people and culture but crippled by bad middle management.

Pros

Lots of great technical people to work with and learn from. Great culture and atmosphere. If you are open to constant changes then you will enjoy the ride.

Cons

Lots of middle management empires which stifles creativity. Most of the managers are just their for themselves and worry about their progression rather than solving the problems for support techs. Bad middle management.

* Lots of time off for work/life balance * Really smart people to learn from * Fantastic Culture * Lots of insight into senior leadership goals * Your direct management generally cares about you as a person and wants you to advance your career * Lots of really good free training

Cons

* Easy to get locked into a single department * Lack of inter-team communcation * Favoritism with handling reviews - the people who are chummy with managers will get better reviews then the people who stand out * Too much middle management * Easier to leave and come back then get regular compensation to get your worth then going through normal channels

great learning potential, always involved with the latest tech. Great knowledgeable colleagues.

Cons

Pay is shy of what can be achieved no more than a couple of minutes down the road. Middle management are very frustrating!!
