Unstable Job Security and Poor Business Practices

Pros

-FTO -Work life balance -Nice co-workers

Cons

Radancy has a pattern of laying off employees every one to two years, regardless of seniority or tenure. Even long-term employees with eight years at the company are not exempt. Job security is uncertain, and if you're fortunate, your manager may give you advance notice to secure another position before being let go. The company made poor investment decisions in the money market, putting employees' 401(k) and retirement savings at risk. Radancy's products suffer from a poorly designed and convoluted user interface, making them difficult to navigate. Additionally, the company prioritizes its enterprise clients, often neglecting smaller businesses that are left without adequate support. Rather than offering standardized product packages, Radancy tailors pricing based on a company’s revenue (as seen through Salesforce), ensuring they take just enough of the client’s budget without appearing excessively expensive. Furthermore, Radancy sells products that are not market-ready, such as its CRM, and frequently changes implementation processes and terminology, leading to widespread confusion across departments.

Pros

Great people in the trenches who get 100% of the work done. Constantly trying to improve client's outcomes. Remote/Hybrid work is welcomed

Cons

No culture in the offices - Waltham/Boston office is a graveyard. Trying to be a SAAS company with technology that is either breaking or can't produce a correct report due to "overwrites" which warp client data in Radancy's favor Senior leadership mostly play the CYA card a lot and are, at best, task dealers who shout down at their teams and never work to improve their abilities. Multiple reports of bad senior leadership behavior that gets reports but NOTHING gets done about it. Don't expect any promotion or improved pay as all the teams do is shuffle their job description to give them more work without the title change. (Anyone who comes back says they had to work elsewhere to get paid more and more experience) Get rid of the wrong people a lot of the time due to poor managers with zero empathy or collaboration

Pros

- Flexible FTO - Hybrid Work -401K Match -Great Clients -Products were top notch -Culture/DEI The company itself is great. I can only speak to my experience on one Account.

Cons

-lack of growth opportunity unless you are "liked" - nepotism. Promotions are regularly given to people based on popularity rather than skill. -hostile management, zero leadership ability. I've dealt with upper management that lie over and over to cover themselves and even when its brought to the attention of other managers they do nothing about it. - horrendous training, be prepared to be put in positions that you know nothing about, and you won't get help from the people that you are supporting because they don't always know what they are doing and were likely promoted prematurely. I do not' really think the important people in this company have a clue what is happening on the accounts. There are a lot of smart people working here, but there are a lot that are simply clueless. I dealt with a Program Manager that constantly lied about their errors and tried to put the blame on others to make themselves look better. So many things were messed up because of this person, and they were never held accountable, and they continued is to do this until the time I left. This person made it clear that they don't care who's toes they stepped on to get to the top. Even when you showed proof of their lies it was just overlooked. While I did not discuss my dissatisfaction with other people on my team, I did hear rumblings of how people tried to go to upper management to complain and nothing was done about it. That one person on this team seemed to have everyone else fooled, at least the management. At one time or the other in my one year I heard of more than one person that wanted to leave the account. Funny thing is that the only people that were taken off the account were people that were not performing well. Those people were moved to different teams and fired. My time there felt as if I had no chance for success because we had one person that was somehow able to control the entire team. Its unfortunate, because I really did like the company, they just need to evaluate the people.
