Might still be good, will never be great

Pros

- many great and smart people work at the company

Cons

- employees and clients are all jumping ship - the technology isn't good and the narrative behind how it COULD work changes frequently - identity crisis where the execs and CEO think it's a tech company but they aren't structured like one - benefits aren't anywhere near an actual tech company - little emphasis on people programs or development - micromanagement at every level, coming from the very top

Wish it could've been better

Pros

A few of my coworkers really cared about the work and felt like family.

Cons

- Creative team lacked structure or any employee appreciation. - PTO requests were usually responded with nothing or a "k." making it uncomfortable to ask. - Important workplace issues that should be addressed are blatantly ignored and take years for resolution. - The workload was non-existent. What's worse than being that bored? Knowing that your portfolio doesn't have enough in it to apply elsewhere and that you're not advancing at all. - Favoritism definitely exists, even for those that fall asleep at their desks and don't meet deadlines. - Entry level people are hired and never trained.

Pros

Good place for entry level.

Cons

Very political environment. Ultimately you're just there to fill a seat. If you're a strong performer, or doing nothing, it doesn't matter. It all boils down to politics. Middle managers throw employees under the bus during semi-anual layoff cycle. They rarely get touched, or take on any actual responsibility. They are all scared of losing their jobs and refuse to take risks or even commit to simple asks unless upper management throws them on the fire.
