STAY FAR AWAY

Pros

They have remote work and don't make you come into an office

Cons

I would stay far, far away from this company. They are unreasonably money driven, I was asked to increase my customer by over 50% in one year for the price increase. They don't have any sense as to what is reasonable as far as sales and they are extremely revenue driven but also disgustingly out of touch, which put their employees in a position to fail. There is no compensation plan for AMs which is unheard of industry wide and the goals are impossible to reach. If you are thinking of working here, know that you will NOT make commission and the pay is not commensurate with industry standards. Additionally, they gave a colleague of mine feedback around a disability with 0 empathy and implied part of the reason the customer did not want to work with them was how they presented themself on camera because of their disability. Leadership is extremely toxic and will derail any confidence you have. Expect to be micromanaged to the maximum, again they will micromanage you - across the company up to the CEO - they are micromanagers. You don't have autonomy to make decisions and have to run your accounts the way they want you too. Insurance is also horrible, my insurance was crazy expensive working here. Again, unheard of for a tech company... if you want to be a "tech company" start paying people like it.

Pros

Unlimited vacation - Requires manager approval and you are so busy that you cannot take it.

Cons

Leadership and Human Resources take no action on employees that disrespect employees and adversely affect working conditions. People come and go every few months. Nepotism is seen across the organization and employees with no leadership experience are managing day to day operations of accounts/teams. These actions are greatly impacting the business and lead to two or three employees quitting every few months across the organization. These poor preforming employees then stay in their role as the organization has no choice but to keep them because other employees on the account continue to leave when they no longer tolerate the account/team lead's poor behavior, lack of leadership skills and experience.

Pros

People, people, people. Met some great friends here. Also, work-life balance and fun happy hours/activities outside of the office. PTO days and new office space.

Cons

AE's are bottom of the totem pole, and are not recognized or appreciated by upper management. The responsibilities drastically change from Day 1 very quickly, so expect to get work thrown at you and not be compensated for it. The work is not innovative or creative, and the client list is so long, you won't have time to produce good work you will be proud of. Upper management will pawn work off to you, so add that to your list of endless 'To Dos'. Also, this agency is more sales than actual advertising, so if upselling software that doesn't work is your cup of tea, than this is place for you. Working with other internal teams such as SEM, traffic and creative is also difficult, as other teams leave at 3:30pm,and work that should be delivered, is not. Ultimately, you are responsible for these undeliverables, as you are client facing. Also, health insurance is a joke.
