Lack of management

Pros

the job started off well; good amounts of training and friendships.

Cons

friendships remain but management support has disappeared and it's a constant blame game from management blaming client errors on his team. No accountability and willing to throw team members under the bus. Management spends way too much time on self promotion externally and within the company and only focuses on the never-ending stream of new hires in our group.

Pros

- Unlimited time off is neat - that's about it. really.

Cons

- Low salaries, especially for a "tech company" pretending to no longer be an agency - No career pathing - The sycophants, no matter how little they contribute or do a good job managing people and/or clients always get their way, better salaries - Forcing people back into the office - Constantly try to keep a lid of layoffs - Tech stack used is outdated with constant issues with various platforms - Some people are allowed to remain remote, others are being forced back in, no matter how nonsensical - This company is having a major identity crisis when it comes to no longer being an agency and pretending to be a tech company - A few people have zero work life balance while the rest of their division doesn't do anything; this spreads across many divisions within this company

Pros

Working with some huge companies so good experience to add to your resume You’ll learn a lot… but probably the hard way Free drinks in office Nice view Some nice people

Cons

Believe the bad reviews… The work/life balance doesn’t exist for account teams. Nobody knows what they’re doing and when something goes wrong (which it always does) they’ll throw the little guy under the bus who probably had no training or support and were trying their best. Prepared to be buried in endless red tape, confusion about processes, and going on wild goose chases to find information you need to just do your job. Training is very, very much lacking. Burnout, stress and just general bad feelings between coworkers will be part of your day to day experience because everyone is stressed the f out. The products aren’t reliable or good(?). Be prepared to dig your team out of some tricky situations with clients when things don’t add up. They talk a big game when you’re hired and you’ll think you’re joining something really special, but it’s just that, all talk.
