Pros

I have been at Radar for approaching a year and can only reflect on my time here as one of great career growth. The team formed here has an extremely high level of talent. Many of the leaders have been at successful SaaS companies and are cognizant of the missteps there and actively trying to build a great company. I have found many opportunities to make choices that will impact company direction or change existing processes. I also have been given new responsibilities that I wouldn't be given with most companies. The management team is learning as we grow and looking to create stronger channels for feedback to scale elegantly and improve collaboration.

Cons

The hardest thing is building a company focused on a new problem area. We are not just swapping one ERP for a more modern ERP or one CRM for another CRM. We are challenged to push the product capabilities and customers to areas they have not charted before with other software. As such, it takes both creativity and hard work as we work towards building a great product and company.

Pros

Radar views the SDR role as vital to the overall success of the company. SDRs are given a lot of responsibility and are encouraged to leverage technology and other tools to help automate traditionally tedious tasks. Radar encourages it's employees to push the status quo and management is very open to feedback. You really have the ability to help shape the company culture and be part of a fast-growing tech startup!!

Cons

This is not so much a con as it is advice to anyone considering the SDR role here. If you are looking for a traditional SDR position (i.e. focused on cold calling hundreds of accounts each day) this will likely not be the best fit. At Radar, you are encouraged to think outside the box and be strategic / creative with your approach to outbounding.

Pros

Very strong product with a market that is shifting in our direction (people are realizing the importance of privacy which makes our approach much more attractive), transparent culture, office based in nyc (Brooklyn) with strong investors and perks you'd expect in silicon valley

Cons

Doing a lot of hiring right now which means in the meantime people are wearing a lot of hats until all the roles are fulled.
