Pros

The College of Nursing has worked with me to allow a hybrid telework structure. The University also allows current employees to complete up to 7 credits of course work towards a degree conferral for free. As long as you work 8 hrs. per day and it works with your department then the University will allow you to shift your start/end times.

Cons

High workloads for the pay provided to employees. Most times you will do work that is NOT a part of your job description and the department will strong arm you into doing it regardless of your feelings on the matter. Lastly, there is constant changes in nursing leadership organization (aka supervisors & workflows). I have had 3 bosses in 4 years.
