Great opportunity for students...good for foot-in-the-door experience. Definitely a great starting point for young adults starting out in an office setting.

Cons

Not much pay, part time; but that's what student jobs usually entail. Kind of quiet sometimes, but good opportunity to finish all work.

Pros

Many genuinely nice people. Great town and natural environment for raising a family and enjoying the outdoors. Great local school system. Very quiet and safe, if that is Ok for you.

Cons

Genuinely nice people are sometimes nice because they are not very well qualified or very motivated. The faculty who aspire to improve the university, through high-expectations teaching and conducting respected research are not rewarded for their efforts. The incoming students are at the lowest end of the qualifications spectrum for Virginia universities. When you mix many weak students with a handful of bright, motivated students, you have a very difficult teaching job.
