Pros

Multi platform environments free bagels on Wednesday

Cons

Complete lack of a defined career path within the organization, leading to an inability to keep top performers. Constant misinterpretation of group responsibilities from senior leadership. Poor communication from IT services leadership. Company was initially focused on entire suite of e-commerce technologies, but due to mismanagement and impossible contract SLAs, have been forced into a warehouse / storage model. CIO indicated during a town hall that margins are razor thin, but we can still make “good” money in the fulfillment industry.... not something employees wanted to hear during a recent layoff of the IT support departments

Pros

You will meet some good people.

Cons

Radial has a general lack of consideration and respect for it's employees. The are hemorrhaging clients, have poor decision making from leadership, have high turnover, and utilize outdated technologies and business practices. The have created an environment with poor work-life balance and a culture defined by stress. The sad part is there is a lot of potential, but the archaic mindset and undervaluing of employees results in the departure of all the good employees.

Great company, bad HR leadership

Pros

Operations leaders are great to work with all the way up to the COO. Solid communication from leadership and they treat people with respect. Internal career opportunities available on the operations side of the business. COO is a dynamic leader and influencer who understands the industry.

Cons

HR corporate leadership is condescending. CHRO has been promoted quickly in her tenure at Radial, but doesn't appear to have been given people leadership training or the tools to make her an effective partner. She has zero empathy for others within the HR department and supporting functions. Her as well as other leaders in HR treat people with little respect and only manages up. They are so tight on funding for the department that a majority of HR does not have the tools needed to be successful. The HR leaders are very insincere and lacks emotional intelligence. It is my understanding that HR should be about people, but none of the HR leaders truly care about the people. They solely care about how they look to the executive leaders of the company.
