      Pros

      The pay is ok, if you are a good negoitator. Beyond that, you should be prepared for a life lesson in working for a company that churns through employees like they all belong to a temp agency.

      Cons

      You should expect to be given all of the responsibility with none of the authority necessary to perform your job at Rain Bird. Also be prepared for unrealistic goals, zero training, zero support, and zero direction. If you are not a director, you can count on being a scapegoat for someone else's mistake down the road. Do not trust anyone that sits in the Northeast corner of the building, it will come back to bite you.

      Pros

      The staff level employees are intelligent, well educated, hard working people trying to make Rain Bird a better place.

      Cons

      There are no good reasons to work for a company that has so little regard for their employees. Employees are merely a commodity to be used and thrown out like garbage. Do not make the mistake of thinking the people on this board are just a bunch of disgruntled employees. They are good people who were taken advantage of. Only take a job with company if you are desperate or just need a year or if you're lucky two years of the experience on your resume.
