desperate to catch up to competitor technologies after falling behind, but limited in ability to perform engineering projects to completion with the right content.

Cons

all engineering occurs only when one of the 2-4 top engineering managers are in the room. Targets for delivery are suspiciously close to bonus-judgement against goals for management.

Our employees have been awarded over 450 patents since receiving the first one in 1935. Even when the economy was down, we have never hesitated to invest in new product development, nor in hiring the very best engineers we can find. Today, Rain Bird is focused on developing exciting new methods for the intelligent use of water, such as our Alexa-enabled irrigation systems. Innovative products like this, that combine several different technical disciplines, are developed by teams, not just one or two people. We are appreciative of the contributions made by each of our engineers in our talented engineering groups.
