Pros

The company offers competitive pay which attracts talented people to work for it. The irrigation market itself is fun.

Cons

The turn over rate is quite high. The company set very high annual goals for product managers and sales managers. So the pressure is always high. It takes time to fill a position. However the company does not focus on keeping good employees. The company follows the market closely. When the market goes down, the company will not be hesitated to lay good people off immediately. When the market improves in 3 months, it is willing to pay extra and big relocation cost to hire new ones. A few good directors tried to change the company culture during the past 10 years. However they failed and left the company.

Cons

No initiative given although it is said so. well under paid and constantly monitored by the supervisors. as per of the systematic sales performance does not affect employees earnings.

Pros

Competitive pay Decent benefits Good people Technology upgrades for all (I just received a new top of the line Dell)

Cons

No career advancement opportunities unless you are willing to be a "Yes Man" Management fears LaFetra so they won't make waves The company is stuck in a 1980's mentality and management styles Very myopic leadership from the "Directors" People leave or get fired and their positions are not filled. The remaining skeleton crew is forced to take the new responsibilities but do not receive compensation. This leads to a domino effect of resignations.
