Pros

Passionate staff and mission driven tenured managers and directors, good hybrid flexibility, good benefits

Cons

Unfocused leadership with constant restructuring and repeated organisation wide layoffs for the past few years, fluctuations on strategic focus and goals with these frequent reorgs keeps mission progress stalled out, leadership is unstable and highly political and lacks transparency, discontinued DEI committees

Pros

Good work/life balance, generous colleagues, lack of egos

Cons

While presenting itself as an environmental organization dedicated to rainforest conservation, it's more a sustainable agriculture certified. This is a noble goal, but can lead to disillusionment among staff.
