Pros

Fun team to work with, busy environment

Cons

Management is TERRIBLE. They will change your schedule with zero notice (even if you are working the 7am shift), promise you a set schedule, zero communication regarding performance opportunities. Overall just very disrespectful to young employees. I feel very taken advantage of

My experience with Canes

Pros

Discounted food and drink, decent benefits. Some coworkers where nice

Cons

Where do I start? Management was unprofessional and rude to employee's and was one of the reasons I just ended walking out of the job. I knew a coworker who actively hated working with customers and was rude to them constantly. Customer complaints about poor service were often ignored by management. Management and Employees also lacked communication. I had one manager yell at me in front of customers when I came back from break and told me I couldn't take more breaks after. Another issue was scheduling, shifts were usually 6 hours and I worked part time. However some nights I stayed an additional 2 to 3 hours. They pay was low for all the work I ended up doing on my shifts (Cashier, Pumping 24 buckets of Canes Sauce, Cleaning the Kitchen and Bathrooms, etc.) I only worked 2 months and It was one of the worst jobs I ever worked at.
