Pros

International environment with lots of awesome people. Some managers probably aren't really global, but many of the foreign employees are. Not many Japanese employees are global.

Cons

When one person makes a mistake, everyone in the team has to take responsibility altogether which I didn't understand the most.

Pros

Rakuten care about worker's life. Each time spend on work will bring back equal return. Rakuten is trying to change the culture to global. The leaders tried very hard to improve things and make it better. Work here compare to other place in Japan, it would be a little between Japan and American style. Join this company you can learn things. Compare to American style, this is Japan, the work is relative safe.

Cons

Salary is terrible compare to Google. Salary is not good compare to Amazon. A little bit Japanese bureaucracy, this is unavoidable because of Japan's nature.
