Great People, Tough Environment

Pros

Working here you will meet some of the best most talented people you've ever met. If you believe in the mission, the work is also extremely fulfilling.

Cons

The Ramsey leadership team creates a very tough environment for the team, especially if you don't fit their mold of a two parent household with a stay at home spouse. There is very little flexibility in schedules and if you don't agree 100% with decisions or actions of the leadership team you are immediately marked as "disloyal" and your remaining time there will be miserable.

Abusive

Pros

The food was not bad.

Cons

Ramsey Solution a constant psychological assault. Bait and switch doesn’t quite capture being hired here. Anyone familiar with the cycle of narcissistic abuse will understand what love bombing means. The hiring process, they’ll treat you like God‘s gift. They take you out to nice meals and fly you in and treat you like you’re wonderful. Most people move in from out of town. After that, the real mind trip starts. I would describe it as systematic bullying. Many employees have left and then filed lawsuits for hostile work environment. This is the absolute worst place I’ve ever worked. You’ll get it the worst if you’re actually good at your job. The longtime employees seem to coordinate against new employees in a constant devaluing and gaslighting. If you’re excellent, they’ll treat you terribly, but they’ll do it while smiling. It’s no wonder they haven’t developed any significant products over the last 10 years. They’re very driven to develop high-quality products, but they’re not actually committed to following the process required to achieve that. New ideas will be shunned, “we’ve already tried that it didn’t work”. Many have described it as a cult and that’s fitting. I’ve never been around so many passive aggressive people in my life. Employees constantly disappear without explanation and that should be your biggest warning sign. If you can’t sufficiently fake being part of the tribe, you’ll eventually find yourself in a struggle session. My best advice when this happens to you is don’t sign anything and immediately hire a lawyer. They very much prey on the young and naïve. I guess you would think they’re all Christians so they must be decent people, but nothing could be further from the truth. Religious abuse goes without saying.
