Poor Morale Overall

Pros

Not many. Decent benefits was about it. They tried to get you involved with a mentor program which in theory was a good idea. The woman I was assigned to only talked about herself though and on our "get to know you lunch" she invited her friends and mainly talked to them. It was lame.

Cons

Low pay for what I was doing, long work hours, usually worked 60+ hour weeks on salary and when asking to leave a couple of hours early one day with no work to do to recoup some personal time I was chastised for it. Working fast and efficiently gets criticism. My boss just assumed I was not doing quality work (without checking it) when I was just trying to keep up with a deadline workload that should have been assigned to two people. Poor morale in my department, no one talked to one another it was like working with robots. Little communication between management and employees. Honestly it was the worst company I have ever worked for. No potential for growth either.

Pros

The positives at Randa is you get exposure to major brands and retailers.

Cons

There is NO middle management , that should be a red flag........Only young entry level employees and senior management. Also not a family friendly company, no work/life balance. Witnessed some unsavory behavior at corporate meetings, overall not an environment to work in long term.

Expect to be Gaslighted

Pros

Summer Fridays Lots of free catered food Travel

Cons

Do not expect Randa to take your documented harassment complaint seriously. You might even be told by HR that your accuser "didn't mean it" and to not be offended if they keep contacting you, like I was told. Run far away from Randa unless you are a card carrying member of the good old boys club. I am not the only one I know of who experienced harassment and gaslighting while at Randa. Constant fire drills and poor communication. Poor management of resources and a toxic culture of favoritism. The response to BLM and the racial justice movement was a joke. No POC in executive level positions while I worked there.
