Nightmare of a Company

Pros

*Competitive base salary and commission structure

Cons

This was without a shadow of a doubt the worst company that I ever worked for. I understand that the staffing industry isn't for everyone but putting that aside the only thing the company cares about is money. They treat employees like trash - the turnover rate is 76%!! Branches are typically very small (dirty) offices and in my case all but one or two people in the office were back stabbing, brown nosing liars. Management pushes out a new initiative very other week so you never know which one you should focus on. The expectations are completely unrealistic so most people lie about their metrics and are in turn reward for "good work". Heaven forbid it ever snows and you can't get to work because you will be mandated to work from home which is more of a punishment that anything else. The company only matches 50% of your contributions for 401k and they do not offer any sick time. As a current recruiter with a local organization I will happily take my temporary business elsewhere. I cannot emphasize enough - STAY AWAY from this company as a client and as an employee.

Work Hard Play Hard!

Pros

Pushed to meet and exceed expectations in a motivational way, as well as compensated for it. If you are invested in your business, and your people/team, you will succeed. Great compensation plan, work/planning flexibility, local & regional management are invested and involved in day to day business of branches. Lots of support, best practices shared and recognition of small and large accomplishments.

Cons

Some of the measurements of weekly expectations are not necessarily what drives business. Leadership sometimes focuses on details that will not drive our business forward, and just creates noise & distraction, or is often never discussed again, which is a waste of time (& money!)

Pros

There are no pros unless there is absolutely no other way to obtain a job. Even if I was desperate for a job and unemployed for 3 years straight I would never return to this agency. EVER. Even if they had something lined up right away I would pass over working with such a bad agency.

Cons

Company they hired me for is having layoffs as they are moving overseas. When given our 60 day notice we were all told they would help us with new opportunities. Low and behold they were not willing to help let alone respond to anyone in a timely manner. It is clear that for the duration of our company they will not help relocate us to a new position as it would be more difficult for them to replace us. Which in my opinion is very unethical.
