Pros

* Plethora of companies to choose from

Cons

Pay was poor, no benefits, mismanaged. I felt like they withheld how their company worked, Failed to inform me that I would get holiday pay or any other benefit. Management was fleeting at best. 3 different managers in 3 months. Each one seemed to be worse the previous. Jim was the manager and was by far the most unprofessional person I have ever worked for, He was the reason why I left the State farm position.

Pros

You can grow within your department, or cross train and grow. Once you have given 6 years of service within the company you are able to apply to any position in the world. Training is a week long at HQ. Great team work environment. They pay according to national pay. Great benefits.

Cons

No work life balance at my location. My "manager" was anything but. She did not manage any team, all she did was delegate. I feel a true manager will not just help manage the team, but help grow the team. My particular department, was all about the numbers and less about the quality of people coming in. The "push push" agenda was very strong within my team. My "manager" would send her "right hand woman" to do all her bidding. I would leave work sometimes around 8 or 9 pm, to get ready for the following day.

Pros

It's a great starting place if you want to get Sales Experience. You will really learn how to organize and maximize your time. A lot of Sales Positions require 2 years experience, and this is the place to get that experience.

Cons

Support is difficult to get from corporate or from management. The goals are VERY different then other sales positions, so it's a bit tricky to relate your achievements to other sales driven positions. The bonus structure is strange and I highly suggest you really have someone walk you through it before accepting the job because it took me 2 years just get someone to stop beating around the bush about it, and more and more things popped up throughout my time there that were not in my contract or discussed with me until after something happened.
