      Good place to go to work everyday. If you a challenge - Rantec is for you.

      Pros

      Lots of really great people to work with every day. 9/80 work schedule is a real plus - unless you like working every Friday. The business is basically shut down during the Christmas Holidays - off but no vacation time used. Challenging work environment that keeps you motivated to work hard and achieve goals.

      Cons

      Sometimes hard to stay on top of workload. The business is very busy and growing fast. Hard to find and keep employees. The challenging work environment is good but can also be hard to manage through sometimes. Not a boring place to work for sure.

      Pros

      9/80 Work Schedule, plenty of Overtime potential, free lunch on working Friday, Some key personnel work hard for you. Overall we make really good military and commercial hardware. Proud to save our soldiers lives with our hardware.

      Cons

      No positive recognition culture. Employees constantly (Especially Management) walk by you as if you do not exist. You say good morning and 80% of the time they just keep walking. Manufacturing constantly, in my experience, has more losses than wins, so when there is a win it should and needs to be celebrated! Grow the POSITIVE culture, not continue the negative, but that starts at the very top and carries down to everyone else. High turn over and low wages for most employees.

      Long hours, decent pay for some people

      Pros

      Certain positions make decent money (engineering, marketing). Good benefits. Some popular perks (9/80 work schedule, vanpool, free snacks, every-other Friday catered lunch). Rapid growth is creating opportunities for some.

      Cons

      Endless overtime required for some people. Rapid growth creating a somewhat chaotic environment. Management often seems either overwhelmed or incompetent and punitive. High personnel turnover, probably for these reasons.
