Interesting product and the technologies used are current. Everyone is helpful and there are requirements for everything that is worked on. There is an onboarding process for new hires to get people up to speed about the company and the development process. Everyone is encouraged to bring new ideas to the table, regardless of how long you have been here.

I have worked at Rational for over four years, and every year that passes has been better than the last. Every team has incredibly knowledgeable and kind individuals - a true strength of this company is the people. The software is remarkable due to its multifaceted nature, and the competitive and fast paced nature of the e-discovery industry makes for some epic collaboration and team development. If you work hard it is always noticed, appreciated, and rewarded. There's no limit to what you can learn here, and if you're interested in a particular area of the application, you always have the opportunity to pursue those interests. Bagel Thursday and the drink fridge is an awesome perk (sorry remote workers), and I can't wait for the awesome happy hours too once Covid is a thing of the past. While work was slow during the worst of Covid, management literally told us to utilize the time to learn something new, or something that we otherwise wouldn't have time for. When some of my friends were losing their jobs or taking pay cuts, Rational was taking the time to go out of their way to advise us that our employment was secure. These are just a couple of the many reasons I'll always be extremely thankful for my employment here. If you ever have the opportunity to work at Rational, I would strongly consider it.
